At Potty Camp, we believe learning to use the potty is one of the biggest steps a child takes towards independence and one of the first they remember. In 2020, Ebony Brown left her role as a preschool teacher where she noticed she was the "potty training guru" for all of the other teachers. When Covid happened, Ebony decided it was time to launch Potty Camp and help children, their parents, and teachers deal with one of the most stressful and difficult times in a child and parent's life - potty training! Once Ebony realized the joy and sense of relief Potty Camp brought, she was hooked and has been helping change lives and bring independence ever since!

As the founder of Potty Camp, Ebony Brown is passionate about helping families navigate the journey of toddler potty training with ease and confidence. With 16 years of experience in early childhood education and a deep understanding of child development, Ebony brings a unique blend of expertise and empathy to every family she works with.

Ebony was inspired to start Potty Camp after noticing a significant gap in In-Home Potty Training Consultants in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Determined to fill this need, she embarked on a mission to provide families with personalized support and guidance in the comfort of their own homes.

She believes that every child deserves a positive and supportive potty training experience tailored to their individual needs. Her personalized approach focuses on creating a comfortable and nurturing environment within the home, where children can learn and grow at their own pace.

Ebony has meticulously trained her team to provide the same exceptional experience that she would deliver. This ensures that, no matter which consultant the client gets, their experience will be consistent and of the highest quality.

With a commitment to empowering parents with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed, Ebony offers in-home potty training and ongoing support every step of the way. Her warm demeanor and genuine dedication to her clients have earned her rave reviews and lasting relationships within the community.

Outside of her work with Potty Camp, Ebony enjoys spending time with her own family, traveling, and advocating for early childhood education initiatives. She looks forward to partnering with you on this exciting journey towards potty training success!

Shirley Smith is a Partner in Potty Camp and helps run day-to-day operations and marketing. As a mom of three, Shirley's career in the software world was put on hold to raise her children. As her first child reached potty training age a unique set of challenges emerged. Because of these challenges, he resisted the transition from diapers to the potty even as he closed in on the age of four. Shirley scoured the internet for solutions, seeking guidance from various resources.

In her quest for effective potty-training methods, Shirley stumbled upon a game-changer: Potty Camp. This innovative program offered in-home 1-1 potty training camps. Intrigued by the history of success Potty Camp had achieved, Shirley decided to give it a shot.

Within a week of engaging Potty Camp, Shirley's first child achieved potty training success—a victory that brought immense relief to the household. The experience was so transformative that Shirley knew she had to follow the same path with her second child, who became the first potty trained kid in her class. After all, managing a bustling household with multiple little ones can sometimes feel like orchestrating a circus!

Her commitment to helping others led her to approach Ebony about partnering and expanding Potty Camp to help share its benefits far and wide. Outside of Potty Camp, Shirley is a board member at PHECA, a local early childhood non-profit, advises on her husband's business ventures, and enjoys spending time with family, friends, and traveling.
